Frequently asked questions about Harry Potter

Everything you need to know before buying or selling harry potter on Blisterr.

  • Which Harry Potter collectibles exist?
The universe has been adapted into card games (including the Harry Potter Trading Card Game published by Wizards of the Coast in the early 2000s), collectible cards, limited editions and licensed merchandise. Each product has its publisher, its series and its value.
  • How do I check the authenticity of a Harry Potter item?
Ask for the publisher, the year, the series and the licence markings, then compare them with genuine copies. A video lets you check the print, the finishes and the general condition. If in doubt, do not commit before getting proof.
  • How do I recognise a genuinely sealed product?
Look at the film, the seals and the original labels: a package that was opened and closed again does not have the same value. Ask the seller to show the product up close or to open it in a live.
  • What are the fees for buying a Harry Potter product on Blisterr?
You pay the item price, the buyer protection fee (6.9% of the item price, shipping excluded, + €0.49 once per order with the same seller) and delivery. The seller pays no commission. Details are in the FAQ.

About Harry Potter on Blisterr

Since the publication of J. K. Rowling's novels and the release of the films, the Harry Potter universe has inspired many collectibles: card games, collectible cards from the films, limited editions and licensed merchandise. The Harry Potter Trading Card Game, published by Wizards of the Coast in the early 2000s, is among the first card games of the franchise and remains sought after by collectors.

As the universe has been adapted by many publishers, two items showing the same character may have neither the same origin nor the same value. Before buying or selling, identify the publisher, the series or expansion, the language, the year and the number of the card or piece, and mention them in the listing. A seller presenting an officially licensed item can show its markings: do not hesitate to ask for them.

Condition is decisive. For a card, look at the corners, the edges, the surface and handling marks. For a collectible, check that the original box, the leaflet and the accessories are present, as well as any fading caused by light. On older items, a video lets you check these points better than a photo.

Sealed products call for caution. A booster, a set or a box whose packaging has been opened and closed again does not have the same value as a genuinely sealed product: look at the wrapping, the seals and the labels, and ask the seller to show them up close. During a live, the seller can also open a product on camera so that you see the pull in real time.

On Blisterr, you can buy with instant buy, a classic or silent auction, a Drop, or join a giveaway, in a video Peek or during a live. Every seller application is reviewed manually by our team, and the 30-day buyer protection covers an item that never arrives, does not match its description or is a proven counterfeit. Card payments are processed by Stripe.
