The Live: TCG card auctions in real time

Real-time auctions

A sale streamed in real time.

  1. A seller presents items one by one
  2. Viewers bid live
  3. The highest bidder wins the lot

How the Live works

Blisterr's event-driven, social format: the thrill of the live auction.

  1. The seller starts a live

An approved seller starts a live stream and presents their lots one by one: cards, figurines, sealed products.

  2. You join the live

Watch the sale in real time from the app. The seller presents each item, answers chat questions and puts the lot up for sale.

  3. You bid in real time

Place your bids against other viewers. The countdown is shared: if a bid comes in during the last 15 seconds, it restarts from 15 seconds (unless the seller turned this option off).

  4. The highest bidder wins the lot

When the countdown ends, the top bidder wins. Payment is triggered automatically (wallet and/or default card) and the parcel goes to your pickup point.

Why you will love the Live

The thrill of live

The shared countdown, the last-minute bids: every lot becomes a moment of excitement.

A social experience

Live chat, questions to the seller, a community of collectors. The Live turns buying into a get-together.

Items seen from every angle

A lot presented live is seen in motion, and you can ask the seller your questions before bidding.

Prices set by bidders

Open bidding lets buyers set the price: bids are visible to everyone and the process is transparent.

Live booster opening

Some sellers open sealed boosters or displays on camera during their live: you see the pull at the moment it happens.

Frequently asked questions about the Live

  • What is the difference between the Live and the Peek?
The Live is a sale streamed in real time, at a set time: you bid live against other viewers. The Peek is a short video you can find at any time in your feed.
  • How does a live auction work?
The seller presents a lot and starts the countdown (30 seconds by default). Viewers bid live; a bid placed in the last 15 seconds brings the countdown back to 15 seconds, within a limit of one hour per lot. At the end, the highest bidder wins the lot. Any bid placed is firm and irrevocable. A live lasts two hours at most.
  • Is payment secure after a live?
Yes. At the end of the sale, payment is triggered automatically with your wallet and/or your default card; it is processed by Stripe and Blisterr does not store any card data. If payment fails (3D Secure, bank refusal), you have 4 days to pay: without payment, the item is put back on sale and a strike is added to your account.
  • Can I withdraw from a booster opened during a live?
No. When the on-stream opening is part of the offer, by buying you request that it take place immediately, and you can no longer withdraw once the booster is opened. The luck of the draw does not give rise to any refund; buyer protection covers a repackaged pack, a proven counterfeit or an item damaged before opening. See article 8.4 of the Terms of Sale.
  • How much does selling in a live cost?
Going live is free and Blisterr charges no commission on your sales: you receive the sale price of every lot. Only withdrawal fees may apply (details in the FAQ).

Blisterr auctions are an online auction brokerage service, which is not a public auction sale (article L.321-3 of the French Commercial Code).
