Blisterr wallet: how it works for buyers and sellers
By Blisterr Team
The Blisterr wallet is the balance you hold on the platform. It is funded by refunds, payouts from your sales, referral credits and one-off credits from our team, and it is used to pay for your orders. How it works depends on whether you buy or sell. This article covers both, using the rules in force on October 5, 2026.
The wallet in two sentences
Buyer side: the wallet is credited by refunds and referral credits, and you spend it on your next purchases.
Seller side: the wallet is credited with the proceeds of your sales no later than 20 days after delivery; you can withdraw it to your bank account or use it to buy on Blisterr.
Each Blisterr account has a single wallet, whether you buy, sell, or both.
What the wallet is
Your wallet balance is a Blisterr balance, funded by payments collected through Stripe. When you request a withdrawal, Blisterr transfers it to your bank account via Stripe Connect.
The wallet cannot be topped up manually: there is no card top-up. It does not earn interest. All amounts are in euros.
Buyer side
How is the buyer wallet credited?
Three sources:
- Refunds. A refund (for example one decided by our team after an order problem) is credited to your wallet, not to your card. To learn how to have an order problem reviewed, read our article on buyer protection.
- Referral credits. When you refer a new member, you receive €5 in your wallet once their first order of at least €20 is validated. These credits can be used for your purchases but cannot be withdrawn. The member you referred gets a €5 discount code on their first order of at least €20 (not a wallet credit). Details are on the Referral page.
- One-off credits. These are goodwill gestures decided by the Blisterr team.
What is it for?
Your wallet balance pays for your orders, whatever the format (Peek, Live, instant buy, auction, Drop). You can pay with your wallet alone, or with your wallet first and the rest by card.
Can I withdraw my buyer wallet?
Partly. Refunds and referral credits land in your wallet and are used for your next purchases. Amounts you paid yourself by card can be withdrawn back to the original card; referral credits cannot be withdrawn.
In practice:
- this withdrawal is not a bank transfer: it is a refund to the payment method or methods originally used;
- it is free of charge;
- the timing shown in the app is 5 to 10 business days;
- the wallet withdrawal screen shows the amount marked “Eligible for this withdrawal”. Amounts whose card origin cannot be established, or that have already been spent, are not eligible.
Seller side
How is the seller wallet credited?
By the proceeds of your sales (Peek, Live, instant buy, auction, Drop). You receive the item’s sale price, minus any discount or free shipping you may have granted.
When do the funds arrive?
No later than 20 days after delivery. This delay is a safety setting chosen by Blisterr, not one imposed by Stripe. In some cases the credit can arrive earlier; the only deadline you can count on is: no later than 20 days after delivery. Until then, the sale shows as a pending payout in your wallet’s financial overview.
What happens if the buyer reports a problem?
If the buyer reports a problem (item not received, different from the description, counterfeit) and Blisterr decides on a refund, your share is recovered: it is deducted from the scheduled payout if that has not happened yet, otherwise from your wallet, otherwise recorded as a debt that is automatically deducted from your next payouts and withdrawals.
The same applies to other seller debts: delivery cost of a giveaway, a lost dispute with the buyer’s bank (chargeback) and customer refunds.
Which Blisterr fees are deducted?
The seller commission is 0%, with no listing fees. Buyer protection fees are paid by the buyer: 6.9% of the item price (shipping excluded) + €0.49, with the flat fee charged only once per order with the same seller, and only once for a whole live session.
Example: you sell a card for €50. The buyer pays €3.45 + €0.49 = €3.94 in protection fees, i.e. €53.94 before shipping. You receive €50.00 in your wallet. On a giveaway, no protection fee is charged and shipping is paid by the seller.
Only withdrawals can carry a fee (see below). The current fee schedule is detailed on the Fees page; it applies as of October 5, 2026 and may change, as our terms provide.
How do I withdraw my seller wallet to my bank?
From the Wallet section of the app, tap “Withdraw”: you choose the amount (€1.00 minimum), the app shows any fees and the amount you will receive, then you confirm. Blisterr then transfers the amount to your bank account via Stripe Connect. The estimated timing is shown in the app when you withdraw (2 to 3 business days). Stripe identity verification is completed during your seller application: for the steps, see the Sell on Blisterr page.
How much does a seller withdrawal cost?
One free withdrawal every 40 days (the window is counted from your last free withdrawal), then 3% + €1 per withdrawal. Outstanding debts are deducted before fees are calculated, and the app shows the date of your next free withdrawal.
Examples:
- You accumulate €800 over 40 days and make a single withdrawal: free.
- You make 4 withdrawals of €200 within the same 40-day window: the first is free, the next 3 cost €7 each (3% of €200 + €1), i.e. €21 in fees on €600 withdrawn.
To keep fees down, group your withdrawals rather than multiplying them.
Can I use my seller wallet to buy on Blisterr?
Yes. As on the buyer side, you can pay for your orders with your wallet balance, whatever the format.
Wallet rules and security
Where is my money?
Your balance is a Blisterr balance, funded by payments collected through Stripe (see above). Blisterr does not store your card data: it is processed by Stripe.
What happens if I don’t pay for an auction I won?
A won auction must be paid within 4 days. Otherwise the item is put back on sale and a strike is added to your account. A strike limits your auctions to your wallet balance for 6 months (funds reserved, fees and shipping included); card purchases remain possible.
Can my wallet be frozen?
Our terms of sale provide that Blisterr may, as a precaution, freeze the amounts in dispute in a wallet until the dispute is finally decided.
Taxes on the seller side
Taxes depend on your situation: occasional sale of personal items or regular activity. Check impots.gouv.fr or ask an accountant. Like any platform, Blisterr is required to report certain information about active sellers to the tax authorities (EU DAC7 directive).
